Parent Engagement

Careers Week

This year we are going to be having our first ever Careers Week at Kingsfield (w/c 1st July). We would like to invite our friends and families to come in to school to discuss with our children, their jobs and how they got to be in their careers. This could be in an assembly or in the  classroom if you would prefer. Our aim is to raise the aspirations of our children and promote the belief ‘if you can see it, you can be it!’

If you would like to be involved please follow the link to our careers form and email it to the school
office at

Parental Engagement Timetable

We also run a range of Parental Workshops throughout the year.  This list is regularly being updated so please keep checking to see if any more workshops  have been added.  If there are any workshops you would like us to run, please let us know so we see if this is something we can accommodate.

Parental Workshops 2023-2024

Parents are welcomed to join in with other events in school such as through joining us on visits, changing reading books, joining our PTFA, attend our workshops, attend sessions with our Mental Health professional and attend our coffee afternoon in aid of Macmillian.

Trailblazers - Supporting Your Child's Mental Health

At Kingsfield, we work closely with Beate Benton from Trailblazers who supports the mental health in our children.  She hosts regular drop in sessions for parents as well as workshops based around a specific theme.  Please contact the school if you think she could be of some support to your family.

As soon as we have dates of the workshops Beate will run this year, they will be added here.
